Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina Shchenko is a Kyrgyzstani Muay Thay fighter. She competes currently with the UFC Flyweight division. She's older than her fellow UFC fighter and former UFC Flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko started her journey into combat sports in the form of a Muay Thai boxer. Shevchenko made her debut at her first IFMA World Championship Tournament of 2003. Shevchenko defeated Suzane McKell in the finals by unanimous verdict. Antonina Shevchenko was awarded an additional medal in the year 2007 and a bronze medal in 2008 and a gold in the year 2011, and was crowned as the IFMA Amateur World Muay Thailand Champion in 2016. Antonia, who began her professional journey in 2003, won in 2012 and 2016, the Lion Fight Lightweight Championships. In 2016, the WMC World Championships were also staged in 2016, and she was crowned the 2016 IFMA Amateur Thai World Champion. Antonina took on Isa Tidblad Kskikangas in the final round of Phoenix Fighting Championship. The victory was achieved by unanimous decision. Antonina Schevchenko set her professional MMA records in 2002, when she faced Anara Bazanova during the KFK Championship in Kyrgystan. She went 3-0, after winning in the second round TKO. Her next two bouts were won by WXF: X-Impact World Championships in 2003. Shevchenko stopped her involvement in MMA to focus on the sport of kickboxing. She made her comeback to fight Anissa haddaoui, at Phoenix FC 3, 2017. Shevchenko defeated Anissa with a unanimous win. She was able to knock out Valerie Domergue during Phoenix FC 4. She quit the promotion and began Dana White's Contender Series 2018. Shevchenko defeated Jaimelene Nievera on Dana White Tuesday Night Contender Series 11. Antonina's striking skills were superior and let her TKO Nievera via knees in the body. Antonina's UFC contract was re-extended after this win. Antonina Shychenko debuted in the UFC at TUF's Heavy Hitters finals, where she faced Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko was defeated by Roxanne modafferi in a split decision following her first fight. Antonina rebounded from the defeat by prevailing Lucie Prudilova's fight in UFC on ESPN Covingtonvs. Lawler who was able to win the fight by back naked choke submission. This was by far the most exciting fight of the night in this fight. Shevchenko won her first three bouts, but lost them to Katlyn Cahookagian Andrea Lee and Ariane Lipski. Antonina was recently lost to Casey O'Neill in UFC Fight Night Santos Walker.
